You could be right - it could be an out of date driver. Also if there's a firewall, try disabling that too. You have to create a registry key in Vista to enable the tick next to the default printer otherwise those types of documents wouldn't recognize there was a default printer. If you need to print them what you could do for now is: Open the bank email Press Ctrl and Alt and PrtScn keys together Press Windows key and S key It feels like there is a box somewhere I haven't checked. I did notice though that your suggestion included downloading the iso image of Windows 7 from Digital River, I have suggested something similar in a previous post here in Experts Exchange
