PPS won't open in email, only after saving to computer. Under Information, following File, you will see either Contained in presentation (meaning that the sound is embedded) or the file path (meaning that the sound is linked). I have put up with this for so long…and to know it was fixed so simply I wonder why it took me so long! I have the full PowerPoint installed, so with just the viewer, the shell\Open may just be under the pps key (I'll see if I can find somebody with only the viewer or you have to download a PowerPoint viewer from Microsoft.
