It does print it if you uncheck the Print Comments checkbox. already tried many things like update drivers, tried to print to different vendor printers etc. A Powerpoint 2010 presentation consists of slides and notes. Eventually I would have to uncheck "Print comments and markup" in print setting to get the slide to print.

Due to the different roles that these items play, it is conceivable that you would want to print the notes for your presentation without needing to print the slides as well.
