Join Now i have two routers...cisco router(1841) A and cisco router(1841) B............router A is connected to my switch 2950(192.168.2.90/24), through fa0/0 port with ip address(192.168.2.1/24). i can ping my router and the switchFrom my router, i can ping the switch but I can't ping my PC (10.0.0.99)So, i used a cross cable to connect my PC Does a byte contain 8 bits, or 9? You can verify this if you want to Google DNS was just something I used as an example. Pings are never blocked to these as they are public DNS. Join thousands of tech enthusiasts and participate. But it fails if when I ping outside our IP block or domain (e.g. 192.168.1.1 --> 188.8.131.52 google public IP). Ask a question and give support.
