I have actually edited /etc/samba/smb.conf directly. Use the smb.conf file to configure your global settings and shares. Check out this thread on the subject. I erased all the samba related configuration files, uninstalled samba cli/ser samba-yast cli/ser and reinstalled, reconfigured and still have same issue...
