Unable To Print Pictures In Word
Me January 4, 2012 at 2:44 pm Jay you are my hero!!! Please bring back the ability to pate pictures in text boxes. I work as a court translator/interpreter, and have to reproduce documents (mainly pdfs) as exactly as possible, including stamps, signatures, crests etc. Objects in the drawing layer are visible in Print Layout view and Print Preview but not in Normal (Draft) view. http://cleantechinnvest.com/in-word/unable-to-print-pictures-in-word-2007.html
If you are in Print Layout view and “Picture placeholders” is checked, you will not see inline graphics. The easiest way to do this is to right-click on the picture to display a Context menu. Looking for deals on cable TV? It only affects pictures placed into text boxes.

Thanks mucho! Of course, some pictures are visible when working on your document in Draft view. Note that one reason an inline graphic may be incorrectly displayed is that the line spacing of the paragraph it is in has been set to an exact amount too small I have been left with frames and red cross in top left hand corner.

Cross-platform document sharing will more than likely result in fidelity issues with the layout. The issue here is that most pictures displayed on Web pages are just links to the locations of the pictures online, and what you are pasting is that link. Note that you can switch a drawing to the text layer (make it In Line with Text) only if it is a picture that you placed in your document.
