Computer makes the noise on attaching the HD but then I cannot see the folder. If you search the internet there is a piece of software that you can download onto OX10 (Lion) and it will read it. formatting wasnt going to happen. and it isn't giving me any options.

I have tried using the cmd function to rename chrisd87, marebear has already tried to change the drive letter from the command prompt. The drives don't even show up in the disk manager so I cannot rename the drives. Snugglez, it does sound pretty bad.
